Beeswax candles will ‘bloom’ over time which is an indication that they are pure beeswax – which we consider a good thing. Bloom is film-like and may even appear to ‘frost’ the beeswax candle. When you pull your candle out of its storage spot and it's bloomed you may decide you prefer a shinier appearance. All you need to do is polish it with a soft cloth. 
 
Remember to always burn candle within sight, away from drafts and our of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended and never burn on or near anything that can catch fire.
 
For optimal candle performance: Trim wick to 1/4" before lighting every time. Keep candles free of debris including wick trimmings, matches, etc. Burn on a level, fire and heat resistant surface. Burn for a minimum of 2 hours and not more than 4 hours.
